Description

The quest for sustainable buildings begins at the site selection stage, and although the West Wireless Health Institute (WWHI) is an interior renovation, its location provides several environmental benefits. WWHI has chosen 10350 North Torrey Pines Road in La Jolla, California as the San Diego base for its research to lower health care costs by accelerating the availability of wireless health solutions. The building is one of five that comprise the Torrey Pines Building complex. WWHI occupies the entire first, second and third floor of building 10350, and includes non-medical labs and offices that have been redesigned to aid the research activities of the facility.
